Wife of the President, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, has urged the National Social Investment Programme (N-SIP) to support poor folks in Katsina State as well as those blasted by pillaging.
Aisha Buhari Mrs Buhari who was in Batsari, Katsina State on Sat to distribute relief materials to victims of pillaging, noted that though N500 billion was discharged by the centralized to help vulnerable Nigerians, solely some had benefited.
Mrs Buhari asked the IDPs if any of them had received the N10,000 help, the response was negative. “National Social Investment Programme ought to attend Katsina state and provides them their help.
“These folks gave over 1,000,000 votes throughout the overall elections, they actually need the help and that they need to be,” she said.
She conjointly urged the National Emergency Management Agency to return to the help of the Internally Displaced Persons within the state.
