Being Faithful in Little Things

Share

Many a times I hear people complaining God does not want to bless me with a bigger contract, God has refused to move my business to the next level, God has refused to allow me win the this or that election, God has refused to give me admission into the university, God has refused to do this or that for me.

How will God bless you with a bigger contract when you have not been able to manage even the small one you have. How will God allow you win the governorship election when you can’t manage the people at the council well. Or allow you win the presidential elections when you can’t manage the people at the state level.

The bible says, He that is faithful in little will also be faithful in much. (Luke 16:10)

If you read (Luke 19:12-26). in verse 26 it says “‘Yes,’ the king replied, ‘and to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.

So if you can’t manage the little one that you have, even that little one will be taken away from you and be given to those who will manage them well.

When your small business folds up, instead of complaining, sit down and ask yourself if you managed the business well. You are a councillor who contested for an election and failed, did you manage the people at the grassroots level well? because if you did, they will vote for you at the state level.

The bible says in (Galatians 6:7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. While you were still in secondary or high school, you refused to study, now you can’t gain admission into the university because you couldn’t pass High school exams. Do not complain, you are only reaping what you sowed.

However, there’s still hope. Just retrace your steps and ask God for mercy. He is a God of second chance, try to be more diligent this time, and God will help you.
